Landon and Mommy's Cleveland trip was crazy busy! We had lots of people to see and things to do. Luckily, Nana and Mommy made a detailed itinerary and we stuck to it pretty well. Here is a day by day recap of the whirlwind trip!
Wednesday, June 20th Landon and I landed at the Cleveland airport and Nana and Queen picked us up. We went to Queen's apartment to visit for a little while and then headed to Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Arden's house to meet up with Laura Spencer. We got situated and then the 3 of us went to Houlighan's in Westlake to have dinner with the Willis clan. That was so fun, all the babies are getting so big! It was fun to see Sarah and Annie pregnant too. Liam and Adrian probably grew about 10 feet since I saw them last! After dinner we headed to the Anderle's house so that Gary and Eric could meet Landon.
Thursday, June 21st we were up bright and early to meet Mary Ann for breakfast at Perkins. Landon slept pretty much through the entire meal. After Perkins we went to see Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bill Mantle at their house in North Olmsted. It was nice to have some one on one visiting. Then Nana dropped Landon and I off at Jenn Martin's house and we visited with Amanda, Jenn, and Allie. Jenn made some good cookies and Landon "played" with Allie. Afterwards Landon and I joined Nana, Queen, and Aunt Cheryl for a nice lunch a Panera. I ran into Megan (Clifford) Long, a friend from high school. After lunch we went to Gail and Brain's house to see Evan, Sophia, Kim, Mario, Lauren, and Megan. I couldn't believe how big the kids were! Lauren and Megan are like little adults! Almost 2 year olds, Evan and Sophia weigh about 20 pounds and Landon, almost 4 months, looked like a giant next to the them! Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Arden had dinner for us at their house and then we went on a little city tour visiting the Eden's and the Horvath's. Our night ended with Aunt Nancy, Uncle Joe, Joey, Amanda (Easter) Rossie and Mrs. Easter coming to Aunt Cheryl's house to see Landon.
Friday, June 22nd we were up early again to meet Mary Ann for bagels at Panera. Then Toni and her daughter Zoey, and Lindsay and her kids, Liam and Audrey, came over to Aunt Cheryl's to visit. We took some cute pictures of all the kids together. Aunt Cheryl, Queen, Nana, Landon, and I headed over to Twinsburg to have lunch with the Kings, Cousins Vicky, Tim, and Connor. We had a really nice visit and just hung out in the warm sunshine! We ate outside a lot and it was awesome! That night Uncle Billy arrived, Landon was so excited to see him. We had dinner together at the Tokarcik's house and Landon met his Auntie Natalie too! We watched the Gerry Sandusky verdict together. (What that man did made me sick. I'm not sure I will ever forget that case!) Then headed home to rest up for the zoo walk the next day!
Saturday, June 23rd, the day Nana's camera broke! We were up early and Uncle Billy, Landon, Nana, and I were at the zoo by 8:00 AM to meet Natalie, Patsy, Toni, and Zoey for our Mission Walk. The money raised benefited a woman's shelter and the city mission. Toni, Zoey, Nana, Uncle Billy, Landon and I walked 1.5 miles in 30 minutes (I think) and Natalie and Patsy did the 5K run, we were all pretty tired! I had forgotten how many hills there are at the zoo! After our walking/running, we were walked around the zoo and saw all the animals. Nana was really bummed her camera was broken, but Uncle Billy had his. After the zoo Nana, Uncle Billy, Landon, and I went to Emerald Village to visit Queen, she was outside reading so we just sat with her and enjoyed some of the afternoon. Queen sang to Landon and put him to sleep, he stayed asleep for an hour and 1/2! That night we went to Gail and Brian's house to have dinner and visit. Sophia had the cutest crush on Billy! It reminded us of Aunt Megan's crush on Gail's brother Mark. After Evan and Sophia went to bed Brian built a fire in his fire pit and we sat outside. It was so nice! I miss sitting around a fire with friends.
Sunday, June 24th we went to church in North Olmsted at Saint Clarence. We saw some old neighbors and everyone said Landon looks just like a Willis! After mass we went to Laura Spencer's house for some bagels and to visit. Then Uncle Billy took Landon to Aunt Cheryl's house and Nana and I went to Annie's baby shower. It was nice to sit and visit with the Willis ladies and see Annie open up a bunch of baby stuff :) After the shower we went back to Aunt Cheryl's house and visited with more Kings! Aunt Janie, Uncle Tom, MJ, Scott, and Tom stopped by on their way back from Columbus. Then we had a picnic with Heather and her boyfriend, her 3 girls, Morgan, Madison, and Hailey, Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Arden, Aunt Nancy, Uncle Joe, Joey, Queen, Uncle Billy, Nana, Landon, and myself.
Monday, June 25th Nana dropped Landon and I off at the Akron Airport and headed back to Tampa. We actually weren't sure for a little while if we were going to be able to fly out because of Tropical Storm Debby. However, the flight wasn't bad! When we landed there was actually sun, it didn't start raining until later on in the day.
